What we collect, and what we refuse to
A short policy, because we collect very little.
Reading the site
Reading an article requires no account and no personal data. We keep standard server logs — the requested URL, a timestamp, a truncated network address — for a limited period, to keep the site available and to investigate abuse.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, we store the address you give us and nothing else. It is used to send the newsletter you asked for. There are no tracking pixels in the email, we do not sell or rent the list, and every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately.
Writing to us
Messages sent through the contact and advertising forms are stored so an editor can answer them, along with any file you choose to attach. We keep them only as long as the correspondence is live.
Cookies
We set a cookie for the security token that protects our forms, and your browser stores your light or dark reading preference locally. Neither is used to profile you or shared with anyone.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it. Write to the newsroom and an editor will handle it directly.
